OVERVIEW
Advanced Coaching Skills Workshop is designed for professionals who are interested in advancing their managerial and leadership performance using coaching, counselling and mentoring skills. In this workshop, participants will be introduced to the core skills of the coaching process and gain a greater understanding of how this process can positively impact employee performance. The ‘TGROW’ model of coaching will be introduced and the advantages and disadvantages of this model will also be discussed.
In this workshop, participants will also learn how and when to use counselling and mentoring effectively in order to keep the performance of their employees on track.
🔴 Course Methodology
In this course participants will be involved in extensive role plays to help them develop their coaching, counselling, and mentoring skills effectively. Participants will also be encouraged to conduct mini presentations in front of the groups to demonstrate and share understanding of the workshop’s concepts. Individual and group activities will also be used to solve related exercises and case studies. Participants will have the opportunity to assess their own strengths and weaknesses by using coaching self-assessment tools.

👉describe how to coach or counsel an employee using the multi-step coaching and counselling processes;

👉explain the main steps and requirements of mentoring, and how they can be used to improve employee competence; and
👉relate the role of the leader to that of a coach.
